Here you are with your ho hum, run of the mill job. You have a boss to deal with and a wife and 3 screaming kids to feed.
You fight through traffic, you pay exorbitant gas prices, and you guzzle coffee to stay awake. You want--no need--a change.
You have searched the web (only during your lunch break of course) and think you found the answer. You want to be a weekend
internet entrepreneur. The sales pages you read say you will make MILLIONS!!! But, are you ready to work? It's not easy.
Nothing worth having is ever easy.
People that run headlong into this endeavor with no competent guidance and wild expectations are headed for a very rude
awakening. Many people think there is little work involved to be successful. I get emails all the time saying, "I am looking
for an opportunity that is FREE", or "Why should I spend any money to START MY OWN BUSINESS?". Do you see how ridiculous
these questions are? Many people are just plain lazy. They want something for nothing. The fact is, it takes hard work to
succeed. And to be honest a little luck and common sense. If you have sent the above questions to people you are destined to
fail.
Once you start your business the goal is to have a ton of people obsessed, or extremely interested in what you have to
offer. You want to control a market, not chase after it. There is no easier medium to peddle your wares than the Internet.
It's web based marketing services offer flexibility, cost effectiveness, and CUSTOMERS. Lots of 'em. More and more people
are using the internet to find what they need. They are searching for local stores, directions, opportunities, and offers.
Good marketers will have those answers and products. They will be ready to deliver and ready to adjust as markets or
circumstances turn.
If you believe you can offer those services. If you believe you can put in the work to deliver what's needed. If you are
ready to sacrifice your American Idol time then you are ready to become an Internet Marketing Entrepreneur. Expect
difficulties, expect change, expect unreasonable clients, expect what's around the corner. That's not too hard, is it? Yea I
know, sounds impossible. It's not, but it is difficult at times. My suggestion, find a mentor, plan your business, then
attack it. Never take NO for an answer. A business endeavor is like the stock market, high risk equals high reward--low risk
equals low reward. Don't be afraid to take that risk. You can only succeed IF you try. Those that succeed all have a healthy
mixture of dedication, consistency, persistence, and perseverance. Strive for those qualities. Strive to succeed and leave
that Monday morning traffic jam for the other sheep.
